Council received our further engineers report first thing Wednesday morning and we got approval on Friday. I am impressed and have to eat my words, from my previous pessimistic post. Just waiting for the papers to arrive by snail mail.
Now the building can begin. I think the footings and slab will be one of the more difficult parts of the build, since I have to co-ordinate the excavator, plumber, concreter and connection of the electricity supply, to each do their work in the right sequence with minimal gap between. It will be the first test of my owner builder skills. But first, we need to clear the regrown vegetation along the boundary so the surveyor can set out the building.
